Hire an attorney to make the case strong. First go and get consultation with attorney for 30minutes. They might charge between $125 - $200. But worth it. Then take the call and proceed.

For sure you can make your employer piss in their pants with legal notice. They will come to a deal and then demand atleast $50,000-$100,000 as a courtesy to withdraw the case.
