Breaking: 20 lakh currency notes caught in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Prime Minister's sensational decision of pulling off 500 and 1000 rupee notes has given a huge jolt to those who have hoarded huge amounts of currency.

 

With no scope to have these notes changed or exchanged in banks they are coming up with plans to monetize them again.

 

A tanker belonging to a popular dairy based in Hyderabad today was stopped by vigilance and it contained 20 lakh old notes under the driver seat of the milk tanker.

 

However, he said that the amount is transferred to other company but since the ban came into force with short notice he said that they are taking it to give to the farmers who sell them the milk.
