Can you transfer your status to an F1 after getting I 140 approved

You know that MAVNI doesn't grant you any kind of visa status by itself right, until you finish your BCT after which you can apply for naturalization.

Nope. But when you file for an H1B in the future, you can use the PD. Atleast by the current rules out there, all this might change we don't know yet.
