But if your plan is to visit theme parks, expect huggge lines and prefer going on weekdays, which is little better

1) South California is the "best" weather in US .Yes its best.

2) It will be cold but not freezing. Its like manageable. 

3) December is not right time to really enjoy beaches and all other places.

4) As usual if you choose long weekends..it sucks... 

5) well, its far better than any place in weather wise..in US.
