After all, the total currency of Rs 15 lakh odd crores issued by RBI would be with one individual or the other. lf say X buys real estate from Y, the currency will go from X to Y. lf Y buys gold from 7, the currency goes from Y to 7. ln any case, the total currency will be with one person or the other. lf real estate and gold purchases along with bank deposits are in the scrutiny of lT, no one can convert black money to white without going through the process of law, if a future date says 1st April 2017 or so is notified for invalidating the legal tender.
