License Plates Change help in Charlotte, NC

Bro's.

 moved 2 months back from NJ to NC ..Dec 15 ki NJ license Expire avuthundhi... NJ nunchi vachetappudu License renewal cheyale...NC lo chesukundam anukunna...But ikkada Property Tax edho untadata.... ippudu malli I cant go back to NJ and extend my license..

Can some one tell me wat is the process of change License plates from NJ to NC and also driving license from NJ to NC.. NC DMV ki call chesthey evadu lepatle hold lo 30 mins unna no response.. DEc 15 deggara paduthundhi.. I know I have to change Insurance from NJ to NC that we can change..

But License change  ki i think i have to do registration and lincese plate change from NJ to NC.. ikkada NC lo entha time paduthundhi for all these changes.. thanks for help

First get emission test done in NC. Before registration you have to apply for NC Drivers license. Adi koncham time padthadi 2 weeks vaalu niku oka xerox copy lanti card istharu DL. Ask them if you can use it for car registration, as vaalu post chestharu ni  original license nuvu ichina address ki. Documents ante passport, visa copy if no stamping,i94 copy and ni paatha license and new address proof theesukoni po( Lease document, bank statement or utilities bill 2 proofs theesukoni po) . They might check some documents or not. Yes car in NC is subject to property tax. First time registration chese appudu koncham cost e avuthadi. Like one time HUT(Highway Use Tax) ani untadi oka $150. Nenu 2015 lo chepinchi nappudu( 2010 Toyota Camry) naku mmotham kalipi oka $400 aindi naku even when i paid all the taxes to my old state.

And some places have only license and some places have only car registration. So correct ga check chesukoni po e office ki velaalo.
