A Chaiwala's strange pledge!!

Thiruvananthapuram: Angered at the decision of delegalization of high value currency notes a chai wala took a strange pledge - that he'd be with half tonsured head until PM Modi steps down as Prime Minister.

 

An Assistant Professor from Kerala University shared a post of a tea vendor, Yahya on his Facebook timeline and the chai wala is seen in half head shaven avatar.

 

The tea seller vowed to be in the avatar as long as Modi is PM. Saying that Modi has pushed him and millions of people to trouble he took this call.

 

The teaseller who came up with so much hardships in life has worked hard to marry off his two girls and has set up a small hotel and tea stall and saved 23000. But with the ban he could not exchange. He went to bank for two days and on second day he collapsed due to low BP.

 

He was rushed to hospital. Yahya had taken loan in a cooperative bank but did not have a bank account. So realizing he cannot change his money as soon as he went home from hospital he burnt off the currency notes and went to a barber salon to have the head half shaven. He is angered because it was Modi who made his hard earned money to ashes.

 

In fact Kerala runs mostly on cooperatives and the decision has affected many people there not just Yahya!
