DevOps involves implementing Agile practices, build and release automation, configuration management, performance monitoring etc essentially the Ops part of DevOps includes all the above. What I meant to say is that I am not a Java developer, the DEV part of DevOps involves that. Hope you got it now. Also I understand Java, I just don't develop the applications myself that's all.
