Mardi gras is the best time to be in New Orleans. I went there last year for Mardi Gras but the trip was dampened by constant rain. Still a fun time though.

I wouldn't recommend mardigras. Last time I was there, a guy and his gal friend got shot right by the strip club on bourbon . I was behind the guy who got shot, missed by few inches. Na sudi bavundi bullet miss aindi, lekunte Assam aitundey. New Orleans is closer to st Louis in crime rate.
