insurance for parents in india

hi every one,

I am working in us, i need to take insurance for parents in India, does any one has idea, i mean is there a way i can get from employer , because if we go with private insurance they may not consider due to age ..

please share if some one is aware ..

two types insurances untayi india lo

1. normal health insurance - coverage will be 5-10 lacs

2. critical health insurance - for ailments like heart diseases, cancer and other critical stuff. - coverage can be as high as 30-50lacs. ( best Punjab national bank critical insurance)

 

old age ayithe premiums will be high, but its always good to take health insurance. antha cashless ayipothadhi.

Am having insurance  for my family including my parents(Total 6 members) Aarogya raksha from Indian bank...with very nominal premium for 4 lakhs .only 13000 Premiun amt..its good policy and good service too..

ravi, can u provide more details abuot Aarogya raksha , 13000/premium per person annually?

13000 Premium is not per person is per family...(Parents,wife,husband,Two childs are permitted in this policy)
