Other argument i normally see is he was the only source of income so wont be able to work for few months etc.

If you are full time employee then most of the employers provide such coverage for this. Even if you are contractor there are insurance companies which provide such coverage.

what ever the reason is , it makes me happy to see so many telugu people helping and donating to some family in trouble. Am just glad that they are uniting for a good cause.
