One more Indian accused in H1B Visa fraud

We have been hearing many h1b visa fraud cases and subsequent pled guilty by the defendants recently especially Indians. One more Indian is facing the charges of Visa fraud and identity theft. Abhijit Prasad, aged 49, resident of Tracy, California is charged with 31 counts of Visa fraud and 2 counts of aggravated Identity theft. According to the indictment filed, Abhijit Prasad filed 31 petitions for H-1B nonimmigrant visas containing false statements made under penalty of perjury, as to purported work projects to be performed at various locations in California. One more allegation on Abhijit Prasad is that he obtained 2 H1B visas procured by fraud and false statements and used the means of identification of a real person to effectuate his h1b visa fraud scheme.
