tennisluvr Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 These are the kind of movies we need at the moment, ones that show a true picture of what our society is deep down i.e., casteist, feudalistic, fundamentalist, regionalistic etc. Contrary to how 99% of movies show the female lead being a dumb bimbo with nothing to offer beyond a plastic face, the director here had the guts to show a female character that actually had a substance. The more hard hitting such movies, the more they should be appreciated by the audience. Sairat and Visaranai two of the best movies of this year. Quote

Visaranai was too realistic with same pace through out the movie. Quote
