urgent--h1 stamping before my current h1 visa expires

Hi

naku march 31 veruku visa stamping undi.. applied for h1 extension and got it from mar 31 2017 till mar 31 2020. stamping ki veldam ani planning on jan 30 and feb 20 ki US  vachedamani plan . konni discusions lo patha visa cancel avutadi ani undi and kotha visa will start from april 01. please suggest.. poe degera emina problem avutada?

you got approval for three years .is it on I140 ?

Nothing will happen. I went for visa stamping with valid H1b visa and visa officer asked me, "why are you coming for  visa stamping when you have a valid visa?". I told him that my current visa is expiring soon and I came to India on vacation and thought of extending my visa. He cancelled my existing visa with a stamp "Cancelled without prejudice" and issued visa from then onwards until my new H1b petition expiry date.

I got stamping with out cancelling the old valid visa and VO did not question at all about my old visa.
