clean your host files if you add any manual entries  and browser cache and try again bro

or flush DNS from command prompt

if you are using your work laptop, all web browsing goes through a ***** and the ***** may have issues which might be timing out.

Try disabling it if you have admin access or do a simple flush dns as suggested above to see if it resolves.

ot even try the good old reboot

Go to internet options and under connections choose LAN settings , under LAN settings if ***** server is enable , disable that and see

change DNS to google dns and try. 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

if you have access to any other machine at work in US, RDP into it and access from there
