Bathai_Babji Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 After creating a new benchmark in film promotions by releasing Gautamiputra Satakarni trailer in 100 theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telanagan states, director Krish designed one more remarkable publicity campaign of Shatavahana Pathakotsavam to be celebrated in 100 theaters on January 8th at 5:40 PM. According to a report from GPSK producers to Greatandhra, this festival marks victory of Telugu warrior emperor Gautamiputra Satakarni and his conquest in uniting entire Indian land as one country. Historically, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni won over Shaka kings and began Shatavahana era (Saka era) celebrated today as Ugadi in Telugu states, Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra. Every state in India commemorates this beginning of a new era with different festival name. Replicating the same fervor, Gautamiputra Satakarni flags will be hoisted in 100 theaters on January 8th. Balakrishna, Krish, distributor Sai Korrapati and entire production team will unfurl the flag at Vizag’s Jyothi Theater while Balakrishna fans will lead similar events in other theaters and other locations.
