CZAR Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 Telangana CM KCR on Friday announced exemption of entertainment tax (ET) for actor Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni. Balayya met KCR at Pragathi Bhavan and requested that his film Gautamiputra Satakarni be exempted from the ET, as it is a historical film. “Responding to Balskrishna’s request, the Chief Minister has instructed the officials concerned to issue the orders,” a press release from the government said. KCR said his government has decided to support and encourage films based on noted historical personalities. Quote
