Chandrababu announced a host of facilities for the people of Uddanam in Srikakulam district, a majority of who are suffering from kidney-related, life-threatening diseases. He said that arrangements are being made to supply mineral water to all the villages, in and around the place. Government-sponsored medical schemes, like mobile dispensaries, ambulances and passes for treatment at KGH, Visakhapatnam, are being made. The problem of the people was highlighted recently by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Chandrababu said that a US-based organisation is making a study of the real cause for the disease and is yet to submit a report.
