It'll never even come close to doing what it promises to do. For that to happen, society has to be radically changed. And since its value is always pegged to currencies, you can't even save it for when the banking sector crashes. yes. Its biggest problem is that it has no controlling authority. Unless the financial system completely collapses, nobody would have use for bitcoin. However the technology used in bitcoin is already being used in the financial system. Not the coins themselves.
