genetic diversity is preferable to homogeneity in species. So breeding local bulls is a good thing. Jallikattu is the most regressive way of achieving it.

If the ban continues there will be no incentive to hold on to the bulls," says Karthikeyan Siva Senaapathy. He is among the few breeders of pure Kangayam cattle.

The Kangayam breed is native to western Tamil Nadu and used extensively in Jallikattu.

"We had over one million Kangayam bulls in 1990. The population has fallen to 15,000 now."

Jallikattu ban cheyyakundane 1 million 15000 ki vachesaayi. Mari vellu inallu jallikattu chesi em peekaaru ra ayya.

So literally they are saying that we have to hurt the bull to breed it, meaning less idhi.

I don't how come people support it ,it's plain Animal Abuse infront of your eyes. Just imagine yourself in place of the bull.
