immigration will be done in AUH, you will be domestic from cheecago to your town..

AUH is Etihad hub. 

So, if you want to get your immigration done in Abu Dhabi, You have to hop on to Etihad and Etihad only. From India, Etihad has a pct with jet, so you can fly to abu dhabi on jet but fromAbu Dhabi onwards, the only option is Etihad.
