The court has taken up the first of the eleven charge sheets filed on Y.S. Jagan and it will be hearing all the charge sheets one after the other mostly relating to quid pro quo. The first charge sheet deals with Hetero and Aurobindo Pharma. Aurobindo Pharma was given land in the special economic zone at Jadcherla at Rs. 7 lakh per acre though the price fixation committee of the government fixed the price at Rs. 15 lakh per acre. In turn the company made huge investments flouting norms in Jagati Publications within 7 months even though it was a Rs. 350-crore loss-making firm.CBI alleges that Jagan earned 1240 Crores through this deal. Taking up the argument,CBI Public Prosecutor told the court that “If Jagan’s wealth is not dis-appropriate, and any one can earn so much money in such a short time, this will be a case worth study at the Harvard School of Business.

Jagan is the actual owner of 822 acres of limestone mines allotted to Penna Cements. The reported turnover: Rs 3,600 crore.

Jagan owns 250 acres worth Rs 500 crore in the name of Tanla Solutions in Ranga Reddy district.

Owns 750 acres in Indu, Stargage, Brahmani SEZ worth Rs 1,500 crore; and 595 acres in Nadargul in Ranga Reddy district worth Rs 1,800 crore.

Owns 800 acres of limestone mines in Kurnool through Penna Cements worth Rs 3,000 crore.

About 329 acres of land allotted to OMC and Anantapur Mining Company owned by Gali Janardhana Reddy are owned by Jagan and the land is valued at Rs 10,000 crore.

Industrialist Indu Syam Prasad Reddy, an associate of Jagan, was allotted 8,844 acres to set up the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub at Anantapur and the land is valued at Rs 1,000 crore.
