Guys brother working in Illinois while his wife recently got job in newyork.

 

So family insurance can it be split for two locations ?

 

What will be disadvantage of having insurance address of other state while living in other state.

Most of the insurances now provide coverage within state only. Also, you cannot buy insurance across the border from a different state under this Obamacare law!

Best bet would be to talk to insurance provider and let him know of this scenario..

Other option would be to take individual insurance from their respective employers!!
