Batman_fan Posted February 4, 2017 Report Posted February 4, 2017 Passed the exam. My 2 cents. Do Udemy Ryan's course. It is available for 19$ or 49$ sometimes. He does labs in most sessions. So follow him and do at least the labs he did. Basically you need to remember all the steps of AWS console especially setting up VPC, ELB, Autoscaling, Security etc., Practice all the quizzes of the course. Buy the 30 min/20 questions AWS official practice exam. Book the slot if are not feeling motivated. At least that pushes you. Try to finish the prep and exam in 3-4 weeks. All you need is to put 15-20 hours per week. If you already know IT basics such as Load balancing, VPC, it will be lot easier for you. I am BI developer, so some of the EC2/VPC concepts are new to me. It took approx 6 weeks for me. Avoid dumps. Even if you are not planning to work in AWS, this course helps you understand concepts and how things work at architect level. Only difference is cloud vs on-premise. Quote
