Plagiarism haunts Mahesh

Story lifting is quite common in film industry. Tollywood Super Star Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu has been facing plagiarism issue. Complaint is that it is not Koratala Siva's original script.

 

Sarat Chandra filed a copyrights case against writer and director Koratala Siva and producer Yerneni Naveen as well as Super Star Mahesh Babu.

 

The petition came to hearing today and the court ordered summons to actor Mahesh as well as director Koratala and producers regarding the same. Court summoned them all to be present for next hearing on March 3rd.

 

Sarat complained that Srimanthudu is a copy of his novel 'Chachhenta Prema' he had written for a magazine.

 

Meanwhile Srimanthudu turned out to be career best film for Mahesh and has earned so much respect for the actor personally too.
