150k is a decent salary for your experience but in the Bay Area it's nothing special. You are right, people in DB are too critical at times. Take it easy man.

ade kada naku 150k pedha ekkuva emi anipinchadu in bayarea...may be central and east coast lo ekkuva emo..monna evaro mi monthly exp entha ani adigithe nadi 6950 vachaindi..bay area lo 150k sal tho naku hardly 1500 migulthai...so i never felt 150k is a better pay in bayarea...
