Ravi teja has the potential to pull the role off if he doesn't try to do his mass antics as a blind person. 

Unfortunately I don't know about Anil Ravipudi and if he's a typical masala director this move will backfire.

yeah correctly said, all the heroes wants to do experiment on different storylines...but unfortunately their fan base will not allow.

But bollywood is not like this. Even though they are stars they dont have heroism scenes (except ajay devgan...lol)

Yes Bollywood stars aren't worshipped like they are down South. That might be a reason, unmitigated blind fan worship is not going to help anyone break out of their stereotypical mould.

Nani will fail soon. Not that he's a bad actor but he's trying to limit himself to a particular genre. Once that genre runs out of steam, he will be up too. 

I think he's an okay actor, not as good as Sharwanand.
