Sad news. Just a word of caution guys, in case you get involved in a car jacking don't resist or make sudden movements. 

Insurance will pay you back for the car. So let go of it if you get involved in a car jacking and esp when a gun is pointed at you. Future advice.

The problem with living in a place like California with anti gun laws is that the ones that have them illegally know that the majority of the people they come across won't. 

Especially in a place with a high concentration of migrants and international students is a safe haven for criminals because they know none of these students and other migrants have a gun on them, so it's game over in their favor. 

If they were to try such a thing in a state with liberal gun laws, they would end up getting shot by someone who possesses a legal firearm. No wonder states with liberal gun laws are some of the best to live in the US.
