I have identified two major syndromes..

1. Frog in a well syndrome ani, they have a feeling that the well itself is the whole world and anything else beyond it is doesnt include in the world..

2. Rabbit syndrome : People feel what ever they say is true and claim that they have personally seen it, tried it, exprienced it and when this syndrome is coupled with frog in a well syndrome, its deadly and very tough to deal with them.

Very very important if you are a Kamma your life would be at lap of luxury.

If you are a Kamma you would get speedy promotions and transfers if you are working in government department because in Andhra its Kamma government now. As many others mentioned, you would also get good internal marks and collage seats.

Very much infact. Having lived in the place for 5 years, and being in one of Siddhartha Institutions, and being a non-kamma (non-kapu too), I see many unhealthy practices. Teachers giving marks after enquiring about family names and tails in the name, students given admissions (in management quotas) based on caste lines, teachers making caste groups, caste groups fighting even for songs (of other caste heroes) being played in college days, I have seen them all. Yes, the people here (atleast those around me) feel caste is very very important.
