Experience unna vallu , please feel free to update list · Tools Required o Visual Studio (with versions) that are required for development o SQL Server o Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) Account · Source Control (for File sharing or code sharing ) o Type of source control (GIT,TFS) o Address of Repository o Path to Working Branch o Any Add-ons that needs to be on Visual studio for accessing Source control · Infrastructure setup (Include detailed Visio diagrams where ever its applicable) o List of Environments (DEV, QA, Staging, Prod etc.) o List of Any Web Servers o List of Any App Servers o List of SQL Servers o Another other servers used o Describe any Disaster Recovery Mechanism if used o Describe any High Availability feature if implemented on SQL servers · Technical Documents o Any High level architecture documents o Software architecture Documents o Coding standards (if any) · Deployment Mechanism o Is Continuous Integration used ? if so Describe in detail about the process o Is Deployment Process Manual? if so list or describe in detail about how to perform deployments to different environments o Describe how SQL Deployments are handled. o Define any source code Merges that needs to be performed after deployment o Define SSIS Deployment process · Maintenance o List all the Jobs and their schedules o List Schedules of each job and their expected runtime associated with each of them o Define Failure actions of each job for all common issues that encountered over the time o List any upgrades that needs to be performed over the time (Like SQL upgrades ,patches and Cumulative Updates) Quote
