bhayya.. i was going through same phase sometime back .. i never smoked or drank but took to nature.. i used to go for long hikes on nature trials .. tried different foods, practised skating and went for weekend trips to mountain side.. it helped me a lot.. i could forget it for most of my time.. try that .. it helps a lot .. dont take any medications.. it zaps good brain cells..

depression occurs due to low dopamine levels, one should use your brain for its own benefit

these things should not ideally occur before age 35, if they are occuring, it is very clear that your symptoms may be occurring due to some nutritional deficiencies

usually some event triggers depression like love failure, job loss, family problems etc

there is not a problem that doesn't have a solution, keep trying different approaches before you realize something fixes the problem without you being aware how it happened

when you go for physicals,get your vitamin d levels checked

I see vitamin d deficiency causing problems
