You were right, I have a friend who is poor Brahmin's, but his parents worked very hard to make him engineer. I'm not telling that other caste need to suffer, See for example, I had reservation when i'm was a student, but I don't need reservation for my kids, as I'm capable to pay they education without any reservations as it can be used for someone else who is poor. same way I really want the government to do something for the Other caste people who can't effort to pay tuition fee for they education. and GOI need to come up with a solution.

The problem with reservations is the way they are implemented..seats reserve cheseyyadam correct kadhu ani na uddesam..ala ani backward castes ki edhoka vidhamaina aasara avasarame..i think giving them additional marks can be a better option..instead of reserving some percent of seats, may be they can get some percent of total marks..That way all of them would be competing for equal number of seats..and even though a student with reservation secures lesser marks than a student without reservation, we are still getting top students from backward castes and students who r least interested will not take the left over seats because, seats are not reserved any more..
