Now most of the states are giving the State IDs and Drivers Licenses with a star on the upper right hand corner of the ID that shows your ID is REAL ID or Federal Real ID. i.e you are a citizen or legal resident of USA.

The star ID validity is atleast 5 years.

F1s OPTS H1s H4s(EADs) ki aa star undadu... and your ID expires as per the expiry date of your Legal visa document expiry date.

 

After Jan 2020 those IDs without a star cannot be used as IDs at Airports or borders.

and Federal government ordered all states to enforce this by 2020 starting 2014

brothers my humble request to all my brothers carry your H1 copy and try to do some community work make our country proud ,.. go work in hospitals , cemetery , home for age , veterans hospital this were we can contribute to the society ... and to the country were we live this will put road to our kids ...
