kakatiya
It's all part of their manufacturing process, called the Toyota Production System. The line workers are encouraged to stop the line to fix any issues that spring up. article in the WSJ that something like 70% of cars from ford or gm had problems coming off the production line and had to be fixed before being sent to a dealer. Toyota and Honda were less than 5%. And in the big 3 plants they would look down on anyone stopping production

kakatiya
Fiat Chrysler brands as well as Nissan, Ford and Acura were among the brands hurt by transmission complaints in the 2015 Annual Auto Reliability Study. The study gives more weight to serious problems where motorists are stranded or must replace an engine or transmission than to a problem with a frozen navigation screen for example. kakatiya
If you guys ask me only perfect car in sedan section is Corolla followed by Camry and civic. These are the most reliable made cars. Accord is next closest car but still very far from the crowd. Forget about ford fucion, Malibu or sonatas In suv perfect suv you can get are Subaru outback and honda crv rest all are crap including rav 4. In luxury i don't suggest Lexus or acura or infinity ... Mercedes are perfect but they are made to make customer pay more at dealer even for most common maintennace like replacing break pads and rotors. They are luxury cars intended to drain all your valuable money. So ideally speaking there is no luxury car that meets both quality and non cash milking cow. Lexus is closest one and hence we have to come back to Lexus again as the best luxury brand with realibility and comparitively less cost of maintenance . Never buy Infiniti or other brands.. Lexus, bmw and mercedes are the three best luxury brands reliability wise.
