not a big deal,

maa employer tho ivaale maatlada deeni gurinchi, he said everyone will get away with lot of  loopholes in that rule.

Merit Based immigration means, US GC will not be driven by employer, but USCIS will drive it, based on your qualification, age, skill exp etc...which is what Canada and Australia do.

 

But the H1b will continue and it too will raise the bar in wage, qualification and experience.
