Vijayawada metro-rail tenders opened, 3 companies (L&T, Afcons and simplex infra) placed bids

అమరావతి మెట్రోరైల్‌ టెండర్లను అధికారులు తెరిచారు. అమరావతి మెట్రో ప్రాజెక్టు కోసం మూడు సంస్థలు టెండర్లు దాఖలు చేశాయి. ఎల్‌ అండ్‌ టీ, ఆఫ్కాన్స్‌, సింప్లెక్స్‌ ఇన్‌ఫ్రా కంపెనీలు టెండర్లను దాఖలు చేశాయి. 10 రోజుల్లో నిర్మాణ సంస్థను డీఎంఆర్‌సీ ఖరారు చేయనుంది.

రెండు కారిడార్ల కోసం బిడ్లు దాఖలు చేశారు. ఆర్టీసీ బస్టాండ్‌ నుంచి నిడమనూరు కారిడార్‌కు రూ.800 కోట్లు, ఆర్టీసీ బస్టాండ్‌ నుంచి పెనమలూరు కారిడార్‌కు రూ.847 కోట్లకు టెండర్లు మూడు సంస్థలు దాఖలు చేశాయి. దీంతో పాటు నిడమానూరు దగ్గర పెద్ద కోచ డిపోను కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేయాల్సి ఉంది. ఈ డిపోలోనే మెట్రో ట్రైన్లు ఉంటాయి. మెయింట్‌నెన్స కూడా ఇక్కడే జరుగుతుంది. వీటికి సంబంధించి మరమ్మతులు కూడా ఇక్కడే నిర్వహిస్తారు.
