If task within the time frame doable aythe chesey..(without wasting time in office)

If task is not doable within the time frame, just send daily updates with the man hours on each task. as simple as that..

how are you doing your regression tests? 

how big are the files? how long does it take to load files?  how many files?

how long does each test take ? are you doing analysis if there are differences after tht? how long does tht take?

channel all of these questions...estimate a time, estimate number of tests and present your case about time constraint for these tests.

this sort of approach will convince TL for re considering the assigned time.

8 days for 3 person yechinapudu now you are expecting same work from 1 person in 9 days .. i can try the things at my pace and can't gaurentee the same thing in 9 days  to complete but will try and i cant ensure same thing in future too ani elobrate cheye .. 

if not take it to manager if you feel its more work pressure ..
