'Arjun Reddy' has become the talk of South Indian film industries because of its raw and realistic narration. The movie, while cementing Vijay Deverakonda's position as an actor to watch out for, it has also brought few new faces to the forefront. Among them is the lead actress Shalini Pandey. The actress has impressed everyone with her acting skills. And according to the latest buzz, the actress might have bagged a role in the biopic of legendary actress Savitiri, titled 'Mahanati', one of the biggest projects of Tollywood.

 

 

 

If sources are to be believed, Shalini has been roped in to play the role of yesteryear actress, Jamuna who was a very close friend of Savitri in the biopic. However, nothing has been announced officially about Shalini's association with the film.

 

 

 

The movie being made in Telugu and Tamil, has Keerthy Suresh playing the role of Savitri. The movie marks actor Dulquer Salmaan's debut in Tollywood who will play the role of yesteryear actor Gemini Ganesan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie is being produced by Aswini Dutt.

తెలుగువారికి ఎంతో ఆదర్శప్రాయమైన గౌరవనీయమైన గర్వించదగిన నటి అంటే.. ఖచ్చితంగా వన్ అండ్ ఓన్లీ సావిత్రి అనే చెప్పాలి. అందుకే ఆమెను ''మహానటి'' అంటారు. ఇకపోతే ఇన్నేళ్లూ ఆమెను సినిమావాళ్లు మర్చిపోయారు కాని.. దర్వకుడు నాగ్ అశ్విన్ మాత్రం సావిత్రి జీవితాన్ని తెరపై చూపిస్తాను అంటూ ''మహానటి'' సినిమాతో వస్తున్నాడు. కాకపోతే ఒక తెలుగమ్మాయిని ఈ పాత్రకు తీసుకోకుండా.. 'గాంధీ' సినిమాలో అమెరికన్ నటుడు బెన్ కింగ్ స్లే మహాత్ముని పాత్రను పోషించలేదా అన్న చందాన.. మలయాళి హీరోయిన్ కీర్తి సురేష్ ను పెట్టుకున్నాడు. 

అయితే ఈరోజు కీర్తి సురేష్ బర్తడే సందర్భంగా.. ఆ సినిమా తాలూకు టీజర్ పోస్టర్ ఒక రిలీజ్ చేశారు. ''ఆకాశ వీధిలో అందాల జాబిలి'' అంటూ సావిత్రి పాత్రను పోషిస్తున్న కీర్తి సురేష్ కళ్ళు మాత్రమే కనిపించేలా.. అప్పటి బ్లాక్ అండ్ వైట్ పేపర్ యాడ్లను తలపించే లుక్కుతో.. ఒక బర్తడే విషెస్ పోస్టర్ ను రిలీజ్ చేశారు సినిమాను ప్రొడ్యూస్ చేస్తున్న అశ్విన్ దత్ అండ్ కో. మహానటికి జన్మదిన శుభాకాంక్షలు అంటే జనాలు సావిత్రి పుట్టినరోజు అనుకున్నారు కాని.. ఈరోజు కీర్తి సురేష్ పుట్టినరోజు అని కొందరు కాస్త లేటుగా గ్రహించారులే. ఏదేమైనా కూడా.. ఇప్పుడు సగం సావిత్రే బయటకు వచ్చింది. మరి పూర్తి స్థాయి ఫస్ట్ లుక్ పోస్టర్ ఎప్పుడు రిలీజ్ చేస్తారో చూడాలి. 

ఇకపోతే ఈ సినిమాను.. ఒక జర్నలిస్ట్ చేస్తున్న రీసెర్చ్ అన్నట్లు చూపించబోతున్నారు. ఆ జర్నో పాత్రలో సమంత నటిస్తోంది. అలాగే సావిత్రి భర్తగా జెమిని గణేశన్ పాత్రలో డల్కర్ సల్మాన్.. లెజండరీ ఎన్టీఆర్ పాత్రలో ప్రకాష్ రాజ్.. అక్కినేని నాగేశ్వరరావు పాత్రలో విజయ్ దేవరకొండ.. ఎస్వీ రంగారావు పాత్రలో మోహన్ బాబు చేస్తున్నారని టాక్.

Shalini Pandey performance was the best I remember in recent times.
