Collection King to create sensation in Mahanati

 

Ever since Nag Ashwin decided to come with a biopic on Legendary actress Savitri, speculation increased on who will play various important characters in Savitri's life. 

 

As such Keerthy Suresh, Dulqer Salman are playing Savitri and Gemini Ganeshan's roles while Prakash Raj will be seen as producer Aluri Chakrapani and Samantha as a journalist. Film also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Malavika Nair, Shalini Pandey and Vijay Devarakonda in important roles. 

 

Many are wondering who would play the roles of Vishwa Nata Chakravarthi SVR, Vishwa Vikhyata Nata Sarwabhowma NTR and Nata Samrat ANR. Names of NTR and Naga Chaitanya did rounds for NTR and ANR but they refused to come out in open. In the meantime it is coming out that Collection King Mohan Babu will be playing the all important SVR role in the film. 

 

A source shares “Yes Dr Mohan Babu is essaying the role of SVR. It's a cameo and Mohan Babu will start shooting for the film towards the end of October or start of November. The makers were keen on casting only Mohan Babu for the character as they felt that only he could do justice to it. They're absolutely delighted that he's decided to come on board.“ 

 

Source adds "Apparently , a lot of research is being undertaken for the character including styling, costumes etc., and Mohan Babu is preparing for the role with all gusto. He's Mohan Babu, he doesn't really need to prepare for the role but he's taking this opportunity to portray the legendary SVR very seriously and wants it to be a truly memorable outing,“
