UP police beats Telangana ATS all night long thinking they are the terrorists

Post Lucknow's recent terror attack, the state of Uttar Pradesh was on high alert. After the Lucknow siege, Telangana ATS reached Etawah. But they were soon apprehended by UP police. The Uttar Pradesh police mistook the Telangana ATS for the terrorists, locked them in jail, and thrashed them the entire night.

THE MISUNDERSTANDING

Four soldiers of Telanagana Anti-Terror Squad were on a follow-up of suspected terrorists in Etawah for the past 15 days.

The local UP police and even the ATS did know about the four ATS soldiers and their plan.

Three ATS soldiers were stopped by locals. When the locals realised the ATS soldiers weren't proficient at Hindi, they started bashing them up thinking they might be terrorists.

The locals then called the police. The police also mistook them as the terrorists and locked them up, and the three ATS soldiers were beaten all night long.

HELP ARRIVES

Upon coming to know about the three locked ATS soldiers who were thrashed left, right and centre the entire night, the fourth ATS soldier came to the police station and soon informed the Telangana ATS IG about the incident.

After a few phone calls from top ATS officials, the three soldiers were set free. But only after they failed at speaking good Hindi.
