Thanks to Pawan Kalyan’s star power and fan base, the movie has been doing pretty well with its advance bookings. The film is terribly lagging on the promotional front as the makers aren’t coming up with anything fresh in terms of marketing. The team has conducted a pre release event that is reminiscent of an audio launch and that’s it. Pawan Kalyan is not even giving any interviews nor is the team doing any innovative promotions. Looks like team Katamarayudu is banking upon Pawan’s star power to pull it off. While films like Baahubali 2 that doesn’t need any extra publicity are being promoted aggressively, Katamarayudu makers are not putting minimum efforts on the marketing front. It is very important for any big ticket movie to draw maximum attention these days. Makers should make sure that the film makes the most by its first weekend irrespective of the public talk.
