AP Ministers new portfolios

Amaravati : New Ministers took oath yesterday for the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet. There are about 11 new faces and five old people were shown doors. It is known that 4 YSRCP MLAs who defected to TDP were given cabinet berths including Bhooma Akhila Priya, Venkata Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao, Amarnath Reddy and Adinarayana Reddy!

 

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu finalized the portfolios to his ministers.

 

Most awaited of course is to see what China Babu Lokesh Nara was given. As expected and even speculated and reported by us.

 

Nara Lokesh: IT and Panchayati Raj and Rural Development (the Panchayati Raj sector gets the largest of the Centre's funds).

Akhila Priya: Tourism

 

Somireddy: Agriculture and Horticulture, 

 

Pratthipati is given Public Distribution

 

Paritala: Women and Child Welfare

 

Manikyal Rao: Endowment 

 

Amarnath Reddy: Industries, Food Processing and Agri Business

 

Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao: Mines

 

Jawahar: Excise

 

Kollu Ravindra: Legal

 

Siddha Raghavarao: Forestry 

 

Kala Venkat Rao: Power

 

Kalwa Srinivasulu is given Rural development and Information and PR.
 

 

Other Ministers' portfolios remain unchanged!
