M slaves begging Cherry to drop film with Mani

It is well aware that Maniratnam and Suhasini have come to Hyderabad recently and stayed together in Chiranjeevi’s house. At that time, Maniratnam reportedly narrated a storyline, which was so impressive and Ram Charan gave his nod to do that film in his direction. Very recently, Maniratnam had brought out a movie with Kollywood’s crazy hero Karthi. The film was dubbed into Telugu by Dil Raju. However, the film failed to achieve the expectations in Telugu. Though the film has several scenes which have Maniratnam’s mark, he literally missed several of the magic points. Moreover, the second half was so lagging and boring and hence it failed to impress the Telugu audiences.

Cherry now had second thoughts to do his next movie with Maniratnam after watching the result of Cheliya. Charan reportedly shocked at the poor result of ‘Cheliyaa’. It may be recalled here that Maniratnam, who was off-the-track and had no notable hits to his credit, was said to have came on a success track with “OK Bangaram”. Again he was off the track with ‘Cheliya’. Now the fans of Ram Charan are worrying whether he would join hands with Maniratnam. They are pleading with Cherry not to take risk by doing a film with Maniratnam.
