I drove Sonata for almost 100k miles man, I had good experience and sonata hybrid is not too bad..but for the place where you are, Its wiser to go for a AWD..

May be subaru..or..rav4..or can;t think of any other AWD's...

Also, Its also not sure if you would be there in colder climates for ever to buy a AWD ...

also, check chevy malibu...had great deals on used cars
