Reliability/ Resale/ Cost per Value/ Loaded with Safety Options - Honda CRV

Best All Wheel Drive and Reliability - Subaru Ouuback

Fun to Drive / Fuel Economy - Mazda CX-5.

Even Mazda CX-9 looks like a regular SUV for 5 passenger but can seat 7. It's looks impressive both inside and outside. But might be little above the budget.

New CRV 2017 is good in interiors but cost is higher - (28-30K)

RAV4 is cheapest and most reliable under 25K

I don't know  why you are not considering Mazda. It's very underrated.

Check latest  Consumer Reports  recommendations for reliability it's in top 3 or top 5.

They improved a lot. I personally don't own a Mazda but drove one.

Its definitely my next SUV

If there are any negatives about it, would like to hear those who owned it. 

My recommendation - Even if you don't buy Mazda- Atleast test drive for comparison.
