Amaravati: Hindupur women protested against their MLA, Balakrishna. The MLA has not visited the constituency for five months now. With summer the problem for water increased. Drinking water is sold at the rate of 10 rupees a pot. If not people had to forgo working and go fetch water from far off places.

 

Angered people have filed a missing complaint about Balayya and even then the actor and MLA did not respond or spoke about it. He seems disinterested with his constituency and thousands of women took to roads today and rallied against the MLA. They paraded buffaloes with Balayya name painted on them and thus shaming their MLA!

 

Police came and resorted to lathi charge. It is strange Balayya is not responding. Will people forgive their MLA? Because of such attitude TDP cadres are of the feeling that Balayya may not contest from Hindupur!
