@sarkaar  it always reccomended to have atleast 6months of validity on ur passport when entering a foreign country

CBP site lo mention chestaru kuda..to have that..

not mandatory ani ekkada cheppaledu..but e okka reason chalu for a d!ckhead CBP officer to send u back and come with new passport.

• Passport - Your passport should have at least 6 months of validity remaining after the end of your planned stay in the US, or US Customs may refuse you entry. You might also be "shortchanged" the time you would normally be admitted to the US if your passport is expiring earlier.  (For example, if your company's H-1B petition expires in 3 years, but your passport expires in 1 year, you may be admitted to the US for the 1 year, rather than the full validity of your H-1B. Avoid this by making sure your passport is valid longer than your H-1B!)

good to know..thanks...mari monna na colleague wife vachindhi amarch lo july lo expiry avuthudnhi so she is going to india again...edho vintah ga undhi  sometimes rules patichukoru ...
