kiladi bullodu Posted April 28, 2017 Report Posted April 28, 2017 Mumbai based model-cum-actress Preeti Jain was sentenced to three years in jail after she was convicted of plotting to murder National film award winning Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. Interestingly, Jain filed a rape case on Bhandarkar in 2004 and after a long legal battle, she herself dropped the case a few years ago. In the meantime, she has reportedly hired two goons to kill Bhandarkar in 2005. It was now proved in the court that she paid the contract killers Rs 75,000 for the job. The goons somehow couldn't complete the job and the differences arose between them landed all of them in the eyes of police. Besides sentencing Preeti Jain for three years, the court also sentenced two of her accomplices to three years on the charges of conspiracy and abetting crime. Quote
