spark is open source computing framework. Supports API for scala, java, R and python too.   Dont know if u asked seriously

Nope it is easy. Spark is framework not a programming language. Usually Scala to vadutaru and scala is almost like java though there are some differences. I am currently learning Scala. Spark can be integrated well with hadoop. Faster processing than mapreduce . 

i learned hadoop 4 yrs back and used very little in real time. Appudu scala spark levu or nenu nerchukunnavadu cheppaledu. He focussed more on mapreduce. But now spark is hot in market if u want to go big data route.
