General rule to not go out while application is in processing so ala antadu. At the end of the day how imp it is for us to go to india based aey kada we travel..

There is a slight chance that u may not get i94 with your amendment, which means you have to go out of USA and come back again in that is the case.

Since you have visa until 2018, so you are good to go either ways..
